We were in Ethiopia back in 2007 picking up our 3 adopted children. Adoption is expensive, but then so is starving to death. So is dying of Aids. So is being Orphaned. So is lacking medical supplies that much of the world takes for granted. So is lacking clean drinking water. The children (pictured above) come to a compound approximately 60 kilometers outside the capitol city of Addis Ababa on a daily basis for food and medicine and education and the Gospel. Approximately 30% of these children are coming from Muslim Widows and they are being welcomed into the open arms of this Christ-Centered compond.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of these Help & Hope Shirts will go to serve these children and purchase supplies needed to keep this compound running. Our ultimate “HELP Goal” is to be able to set up funds that will be used to build an on-site kitchen used to prepare meals daily for these children. Clean drinking water and medical supplies are greatly needed. Funds will also be directed towards these needs. Our “HOPE Goal” is to share with these children the Love of Jesus in the Gospel Message in a clear and compelling way that they can understand. As hard as their life is, it is our prayer that their HOPE never fade away. A relationship with Jesus Christ guarantees that.
